These are examples of packages that I offer, however they can be tailored to your individual need so please contact me to discuss further what your requirements are.

Full care package - £6,500
 

• Holistic care from booking of your pregnancy until discharge postnatally.

​

• Continual support throughout your pregnancy/postnatal period via WhatsApp/phone.
   

• Antenatal booking appointment – usually around 2 hours long. We will discuss your pregnancy care wishes and what support you require from me as your independent midwife. We will also discuss personal health and family health history, along with any previous pregnancies and births to help guide the care that I offer in line with national guidance. I will help you to plan your pregnancy care and support you to make choices that are individualised and right for you.
   

• Antenatal appointments – following your booking appointment, appointments are offered around 16, 20, 24,28,31,34,36,38,40,41 weeks and beyond. These are all arranged at your convenience and extra appointments can be added should you need them. Appointments last approximately 1-2 hours depending on individual need. You will be offered health checks of you and your baby, along with a good natter over a cup of tea and holistic support discussing whatever is important to you and your family during your pregnancy. ​​

•  Appointments can be arranged whenever suits you and I love to have siblings, extended family, friends etc involved! Whatever makes you feel supported and happy... A family-centered approach is really important to me.

• Full antenatal education offering – please see my parenting class page for details, but all the information provided in these classes will be built into your appointments depending on your preferences.

• Full support with birth plan writing and support.
   

• 24/7 on call services from 37 weeks of pregnancy until the birth of your baby from myself and a second midwife. You will usually have the chance to meet/speak with this midwife during your pregnancy. Second midwife fees are included in this package.
   

• Fully insured labour care – either in your home or in the birth centre/hospital. (Should you wish to birth in the hospital or if a transfer is recommended in labour, I will not usually be able to provide direct midwifery care as this will be provided by the NHS. However, this will enable me to act as an advocate and provide emotional support for you and your partner.)
   

• All equipment, drugs (including Entonox) and consumables included.
   

• Postnatal care – unhurried visits offered on day 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 14, 21, 28. I will also be available for support in between via phone/WhatsApp/extra visits if needed. These visits include the offer of health and wellbeing assessments for you and baby, weighing of baby, feeding support and emotional support for you and your family.
   

• Offer of the day 5 newborn blood spot test.
   

• Exclusions – blood screening, ultrasound scans, Newborn Initial Physical Examination (NIPE), newborn hearing screening, tongue-tie revision. Clients opting for these screens/tests can have these done via the NHS and I can support/signpost with this, or liaise with private practitioners should you wish.

• Independent midwives work alongside the multi-disciplinary team of consultant midwives, obstetricians and GP’s and I can support you with this, dependent on your individual requirements and preferences. I can also attend your obstetric appointments with you as an advocate should you wish for this.
