Complete care Packages

I am a proud co-founder of East Anglian Midwives, and offer all of my birth care via this shared care model of midwifery care. You can find more about us here.

With East Anglian Midwives you will receive holistic care from two experienced midwives, from your pregnancy through to your fourth trimester. You will be heard, have midwives who will walk beside you and support you to feel empowered in making truly informed decisions about your care.

Investment price £8,500.

Relationship building between clients and independent midwives is extremely important, therefore I usually do not take on clients after 34 weeks of pregnancy for full care packages. The earlier you book - the best you will get from your care with me!

If you are over 34 weeks and are considering booking myself for birth support, please get in touch to discuss my availability.

I support clients in Suffolk, Essex, Norfolk and Cambridge.

Payment plans across your pregnancy can be arranged should you wish to do this.

Included in the complete care package...

  • Support between appointments via WhatsApp/phone.

  • Antenatal booking appointment – usually around 2 hours long. We will discuss your pregnancy care wishes and what support you require from me as your independent midwife. I will support you to plan your pregnancy care and make choices that are right for you. Care is offered in line with national guidance but is made in an individualised way rather than a "one size fits all" approach.

  • Antenatal appointments – following your booking appointment, appointments are offered (as a minimum) at 16, 20, 24,28,31,34,36,38,40,41, 42 weeks and beyond. This is adaptable to your individual requirement and appointments are alternated between midwives when booking with East Anglian Midwives.

  • Appointments, lasting approximately 1-2 hours, are arranged at your convenience. Extra appointments can be added should you need them.

  • You will be offered health checks of you and your baby - such as blood pressure readings, urine dip, measurement of your abdomen and the chance to hear your baby's heartbeat.

  • Holistic support, discussing whatever is important to you and your family during your pregnancy. Siblings, extended family, friends etc are welcomed into appointments, whatever makes you feel supported and happy... A family-centred approach is really important to me.

  • Full antenatal education offering – please see my parenting class page for details, but all the information provided in these classes will be built into your appointments depending on your preferences.

  • Support with birth plan writing.

  • 24/7 on call services from 37 weeks of pregnancy until the birth of your baby from myself and my partner midwife. You will usually have the chance to meet/speak with this midwife during your pregnancy. Second midwife fees are included in this package.

  • Fully insured labour care – either in your home or in the birth centre/hospital. (Should you wish to birth in the hospital or if a transfer is recommended in labour, I will not usually be able to provide direct midwifery care due to insurance restrictions, this will be provided by the NHS. However, this will enable me to act as your professional advocate and provide emotional support for you and your partner.)

  • All equipment, drugs (including Entonox) and consumables included. â€‹â€‹

  • Enhanced postnatal care – unhurried visits offered on day 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10. Then once or twice weekly visits until around 4 weeks postnatal, dependent upon your need.

  • Postnatal visits include the offer of health and wellbeing assessments for you and baby, weighing of baby, feeding support and emotional support for you and your family. I can also complete the day 5 newborn blood spot test if you wish for this.

  • Exclusions – blood tests, ultrasound scans, newborn hearing screening, tongue-tie revision. Clients opting for these screening tests/appointments can access these done via the NHS and I can support/signpost with this, or liaise with private practitioners should you wish.

  • Independent midwives work alongside the multi-disciplinary team of consultant midwives, obstetricians and GP’s and I can support you with this, dependent on your individual requirements and preferences. I can also attend your obstetric appointments with you as an advocate should you wish for this.
